With 15 years of dedicated experience in education, I have honed a multifaceted approach to teaching and learning. As a passionate educator, I have served in various roles, including classroom teacher, department chair, team lead, and literacy coach. I am committed to fostering a love of learning and empowering both students and colleagues to achieve their fullest potential.

In my role as a department chair, I successfully implemented curriculum enhancements and professional development initiatives that promoted collaborative teaching practices and improved student outcomes. As a literacy coach, I have worked closely with educators to develop effective strategies that cultivate critical reading and writing skills, ensuring all students have the tools they need to thrive.

Known for my collaborative spirit and innovative approach, I believe in creating an inclusive classroom environment where every voice is valued. I am dedicated to continuous growth and am always seeking new ways to inspire and engage students in meaningful learning experiences.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, traveling and volunteering on various committees at my church such as the social justice and women’s ministries and with the National Coalition of 100 Black Women where I serve on both the public policy and education committees. which enriches my perspective on education and life.
