Chelsea is an experienced educator and curriculum and instruction leader with over a decade of experience in schools, previously serving students in Silver Spring, Maryland, Chicago, Illinois and most recently New York City. Before Teaching Lab, she worked as a classroom teacher with a wide range of experience across K-5 grade levels. She served on her school's leadership coalition, implementing curriculum, identifying and facilitating professional development opportunities and coaching new teachers. Chelsea holds a B.S. in Education and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction.

Outside of her professional passions, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, traveling, trying new restaurants or recipes at home and is always in the middle of a new book.
