Before joining Teaching Lab, Cindi was a Senior Consultant, Literacy Coach, and Professional Development Facilitator, supporting PreK-8th Grade educators in data-driven, inquiry-based, and student-centered coaching cycles. She has designed and led professional learning sessions for leaders, educators and support staff.
Cindi is a NYC educator with over 20 years of experience, committed to promoting inquiry, joy, and equity for all learners. She is passionate about facilitating evidence-based instructional strategies and relationship-focused coaching to support leaders, teachers, and students.
Cindi holds a Master’s in Special Education from Bank Street College and a certificate in Early Childhood Facilitative Leadership. Her background includes Early Childhood Special Education with clinical training in social-emotional development. In addition, her previous work with graduate-level students as a Special Education Fieldwork Supervisor at CUNY Hunter College, inspired Cindi to become a coach.
Cindi enjoys exploring her hometown of NYC, going to museums, reading historical fiction, and spending time with her family playing board games. A lifelong learner, she takes classes on a wide range of topics and interests.
