This Early Literacy Foundational Skills Bootcamp by Teaching Lab series is designed to support participants’ understanding of the Foundational Skills of reading and to understand what it means to teach them according to the science of reading. Participants will learn about the Foundational Skills through both research and practice and analyze the role of the teaching of Foundational Skills in educational equity.
This EL Education K-2 Skills Block Bootcamp by Teaching Lab series is intended to provide educators new to or with developing knowledge of EL Education's K-2 Reading Foundations Skills Block, an opportunity to build content knowledge, pedagogic content knowledge, and specific curricular materials knowledge in order to effectively implement the instructional materials.
This EL Education K-8 Modules Unpacking Bootcamp by Teaching Lab series is intended to provide educators new to or with developing knowledge of EL Education's K-8 ELA Curriculum an opportunity to build content knowledge, pedagogic content knowledge, and specific curricular materials knowledge in order to effectively implement the instructional materials provided in the EL modules.
This course is designed to support leaders with establishing the enabling conditions necessary to support teacher instructional practices that promote a student-centered approach to learning with a focus on students’ unique cultural identities and skill sets that encourage academic achievement, cultural competence, and sociopolitical consciousness.

This CKLA K-2 Skills Bootcamp by Teaching Lab series is intended to provide educators with an opportunity to learn about the Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA)’s instructional materials for the K-2 skills strand. Thus, helping participants build knowledge about why a science/evidence-based approach to teaching foundational skills (e.g., structured & systematic phonics) is essential.
