Jenny Jordan is the Executive Director of TeachStart. Prior to TeachStart, Jenny led Teach For America’s largest region as the COO for the Bay Area.

Jenny helped launch the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Foundation’s education giving area, building out a focus on recruiting, supporting and developing great teachers. She has experience in charter school growth and replication, having helped expand the excellent schools that are part of both Brooke Charter Schools and Aspire Public Schools.

She launched her career at The Bridgespan Group, Bain & Co.’s nonprofit arm, where she advised impact organizations on strategy, financials, and growth.

Jenny holds a B.A., Magna cum Laude, from Harvard University and an MBA and a Master’s in Education from Stanford University. She was an Education Pioneers Fellow and a United States Presidential Scholar. She is the mom to two wonderful kids and lives in San Francisco’s magical Presidio, where she runs to the beach every morning.
