Keisha Fleming
Keisha Fleming an educator, mentor, veteran, and advocate for her community. She earned had a BS in Elementary Education and Master of Educational Leadership. Keisha has 19 years of teaching experience and currently a Literacy Coach. She is a veteran of United States Navy where she served 8 years as a Fire Controlman Technician. She desires to continually educate and inspire the students and their families that she encounters. In her professional career she was recognized as Elementary Teacher of the Year; advocates with Stand for Children, Leaders of Color, Power Coalition SheLeads Alum and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Keisha has a strong passion to educate future generations to assist them in becoming a well-rounded and productive citizen. Throughout the course of her career, she’s had opportunities to teach, create curriculums, accommodate multiple intelligences, and bring a hands-on approach to learning. Her greatest strengths include advocating, teaching, motivating and engaging others to become the best version of themselves. She joined the Teacher Advisory Board to expand her capacity as an educator and equip her to assist others to critically think academically and in occupational settings.
