Melynda Rodrigue
Melynda Rodrigue is an accomplished educational leader with over three decades of experience in special education and school administration. She retired as an elementary school principal in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, where she led PreK-6th grade students and staff, overseeing all aspects of academic and operational management. Her leadership garnered accolades including recognition as a district Elementary Principal of the Year and the distinction of leading a National Blue Ribbon School.
Melynda's career began as a special education teacher, and she quickly advanced to roles that emphasized her deep understanding of instructional strategies and special education programs. She worked as an educational facilitator providing direct support to special education teachers and ensuring compliance with educational policies. In addition to her long tenure in public education, Melynda has continued to contribute to the field as a subject matter expert and instructional coach. She has served as a remote instructional coach for iTeachLouisiana, supporting new teachers in their certification process, and worked with an eLearning company to fact-check AI-generated college coursework.
Melynda holds a B.S. in Marketing from Nicholls State University, an M.Ed. in Special Education from the University of Southern Mississippi, and additional certifications in Educational Leadership. She remains actively involved in the educational community through roles on advisory committees.
