Phil Chew is the Director of Business Development in Teaching Lab Studio, where he helps bring the Studio’s new Gen-AI enabled products into the K-12 classrooms throughout the U.S. to support teachers in creating more opportunity for the students they serve.

Before Teaching Lab, Phil has led product, program, and policy strategy in New York City Public Schools, Harvard University, ETS’s AI Research Labs, Reforge, and various start-ups in education and workforce development.

Phil currently co-chairs the Harvard University Graduate School of Education Alumni Council, where he also helps teach a course on Innovation and Impact in Education. In addition to teaching, he regularly convenes education leaders operating at the intersection of education policy and technology to foster conversation and collaboration between the two.

Phil has as Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation, and Education from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education and B.S. in Education and Public Policy from The Pennsylvania State University.
