Before joining Teaching Lab, Robert taught mathematics in the New York City Public School system for nine years. In that role, he was designated a Model Teacher and served as a Mathematics Department Head and Instructional Leader.

Robert holds a master's degree in Educational Technology and enjoys exploring innovative ways to enhance his practice with technology.

Robert is an avid cyclist and competitive mountain bike racer who enjoys spending time with his partner, Rachel, and their cat, Quincy.
