Teaching Lab is Excited to Partner with Texas School Systems.

Who is Teaching Lab?

  • Core academic content embedded in exceptional instructional and curricular materials and aligned to research-based practices.

  • Teacher-led communities that build both social capital and motivation.

  • Structured and repeated cycles of inquiry in teacher professional learning communities.

  • Raising the achievement of all students, while eliminating the racial and economic predictability and disproportionality of which student groups occupy the highest and lowest achievement categories.

Teaching Lab was founded in 2016 with a mission to fundamentally shift the paradigm of teacher professional learning for educational equity. Using our core professional learning model, coined:

Teaching Lab partners with over 50 school systems per year to:

  • Adopt high-quality content and curriculum

  • Deliver curriculum-based professional learning and coaching to educators

  • Support school and system leaders to create instructionally coherent educational systems

  • Identify local leaders, including teacher leaders and coaches, who can embrace Teaching Lab’s evidence-based approach and sustain evidence-based practices and systems focused on advancing equity.

Teaching Lab is proud to be an approved technical assistance provider for the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Strong Foundations Math and Literacy Framework Development Grant and for Dallas ISD.

  • Each LEA will receive a dedicated partnership team, including individuals who have worked in Texas and are familiar with the Texas landscape.

  • Teaching Lab specializes in math and ELA curriculum adoption and professional learning.
