As Manager, Program - Coaching, Travis Jack serves as a content expert, facilitates professional learning for partner districts, and coaches teachers and leaders to increase teacher and student learning and advance educational equity.
Travis is a transformative servant leader with more than a decade of experience as a classroom teacher, department chair, instructional coach, and curriculum design coordinator at both the campus and district level. Most of these experiences have been in urban schools in the greater Houston area, including the eight-largest district in the nation, Houston Independent School District, the district where Dr. Jack also journeyed through his K-12 schooling. In addition to working in the K-12 education sector, Dr. Jack also has experience working in the post-secondary education sector as an adjunct lecturer and student affairs practitioner. Regardless of the level, Dr. Jack has notable experience in working with diverse populations and facilitating unparalleled growth and engagement among all learners. Dr. Jack is considered to be a mentor, coach, and change agent wherever he is placed. Dr. Jack holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University, a Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Arkansas, and a Ph.D. in School Improvement from Texas State University.
Outside of work, Travis enjoys family time, traveling and exploring different cultures and regions, music festivals and concerts, church, cooking, and game nights. Travis can also be found at different sporting events cheering on all Houston pro teams and college football for his various alma maters.
