She/Her

Vivian Nguyen is the Director of Program. She oversees the NYC Reads Initiative across the city. Her specialization is Special Education, and she works closely to support robust curriculum implementation while providing access for all students.

Before joining Teaching Lab, she worked in education consulting and served as a school leader. In all her roles, she leads and builds high-performing teams to produce outstanding outcomes that disrupt systematic inequalities. When not at work, you can find her playing tennis or spending time with her dog at the park.
