Teacher Advisory Board

How do we tackle the biggest challenges in education and stay grounded in what matters most? We ask teachers.

About the Teacher Advisory Board (TAB)

Grounding innovation in educator experience.

At Teaching Lab, we believe the best solutions for students start with the voices of the educators who serve them. Our Teaching Advisory Board (TAB) is a trusted circle of educators, coaches, school leaders, and scholars who bring real-world insight to everything we build.

TAB members shape the direction of our work—offering strategic input, surfacing classroom realities, and helping us design professional learning that is relevant, responsive, and rooted in what works. Their guidance ensures that everything we create lives up to our core belief: the most powerful change is built for teachers, by teachers.

Educator Voices

“TAB is a place I want to be in because it means that Teaching Lab is interested in prioritizing teacher voices.”
– Ira Stillwell — Program Facilitator and TAB member

The Power of the TAB

The Teacher Advisory Board ensures that teacher voice drives everything we create—from new ideas to final products.

Co-Create

We design with, not for—engaging educators and instructional leaders at every stage of development.

Validate

We responsibly test what we build to make sure it works for real classrooms—not just in theory.

Optimize

We refine and improve based on direct feedback from the field, so our tools and resources stay relevant, useful, and effective.
